Yes they have. Brythonic and Anglo-saxon blood is inseperable and there are thousands of part gaelic and part english people. Currently 90%~ of whites share some ancestry in Britain in the form of the og inhabitants.

We used to be pagan yes, but christianity when it came to Britain adapted to pre existing customs. The key part is "sub" yes they have a subculture. They are somewhat distinct.

I care about the British but I don't believe something to be true just because the majority does. The Scottish and English share many customs and values as well as a religion and language. Any difference is countered by a similarity.
