In the future, it will be.
Agreed @Hellootitties
@El Julien what should i do if she feels like she cant always talk to me? She probably feels alone and that im #unrelatable
I was baptized but I was never religious
@chonkyfire You said Borderline, is she Borderline?
Nah borderline breakdown, not the mental illness
Actually i guess it was a mental breakdown
You weren't baptized, an Apostate Church performed the actions with none of the authority
🙌🏼
My dad is religious but I was never baptized. God has been finding its way into my lige
But since my mom used to do it when i was really young, i feel like i have an emotional disconnect from the trauma when faced with it again
That sounds about right I don’t even remember it tbh
@chonkyfire well in her case what she can do is talk to a foreigner, someone who's far from home, you can talk to me and tell you how it feels but it won't be the same
When I was an atheist, I felt as though the Religious were stupid or mentally ill. Now that I've become religious, I view atheists as Blind.
Just know I was baptized somewhere and it has no meaning to me
I can respect every religion, they tend to bring moral fiber bar Catholicism and "Buddhism"
Religion is a great way to hold a community together
I like being blind
Atheists, I'm dodgy about
they're missing something
Because the individuals in this community are working together towards a greater good
^
As humans should
Hmm
Some may interpret their religion as metaphors for something unexplainable, others may take it at face value but they have common interest
And that's the betterment of society
Yes
Growth
Forget the rules
I view religion as a form of Cultural Morality Play
It's really quite beautiful
If you know what a Morality Play was from back in the times
It comes down to helping others
It was a Play encoded with morals, designed to teach a lesson.
Helping others by helping yourself
In the same way, religious myths do the same
the hymns
the art
Absolutely
