As long as she's able to actually care for them it's fine. Lots of ex-addicts develop strange obsessions
Like cannot trust anyone who isn't her
She catches ferals and spays and nueters them too
Then releases them
Cats tend to develop singular bonds only trust one or two people they're familiar with
At least she's doing something beneficial
Most of those people resort to something like chocolate addiction
Yeah but you don't wanna be in a house like that
Trust me even if everything is kept up with a house with like
14 cats
Is oppressive
You CAN'T clean up after that many cats
You'd be cleaning 24 hrs a day
You can it's just an all day affair
I've done it
They're replenishing the mess as you clean it
Litter boxes gotta be scooped every couple hours, all four of them
Vacuum everything every day
Mop
Still stinks though
I have 3 for 4 cats
She's down to nine think
And clean them at least once a day, sometimes twice a day
When I lived there it was 14 and i wanted to die
You couldn't really have much of anything you didn't want destroyed
Unless the cats are contained to a quarantined area
The only sad part is she has dogs too and she got the dogs when she was a druggie and over fed the hell out of them at the time
She feels bad about it now but it's like
Weezying creaking fat old dogs
Ugh
I hate that
Seeing animals in a state of pathetic subsistence
Dogs are a nightmare inside as it is
Well unless they're well trained and raised inside
Blind diabetic dog
Bad experience from dealing with strays

Yeah.... that's bound to be hell
Yeah untrained dogs are a nightmare to see
Especially if it's a good tempered dog
