@Shane Humans are part of the One regardless of the existence or nonexistence of souls. Rocks are part of the One. So are properties. Concepts. Ideas. What-have-yous. It doesn't mean that everything which is part of the One is physical. The laws of logic are metaphysical objects without a physical correlative, for example. So when I imagine, say, you doing a little dance in my office, it doesn't mean there is a physical you that others can interact with dancing in my office. The *idea* exists and is part of the One, but it doesn't hold the property "is a physical event with ontic validity". Rather, it holds the property "is a mental occurrence". The major difference between the two, from my point of view, being that mental occurrences are emergent phenomena coming from physiological events, rather than being physical themselves they are the result of the physical. Still part of the One, but not experienced by all parts in the same way.
