To be fair, my manager and supervisors were all great

I started getting fed up too. We switched to a new system recently and they were all up our asses about our numbers not being good enough.

Didn't seem to matter how hard I pushed myself, couldn't get to what I needed

Then one of the days I got in the car, probably looked kinda dead. Then I was told "You know you can quit, right?"

And so I did the next day

It doesn't really seem like a job tht should physically wear you out either. But it was starting to fuck up my muscles. I was going through around 60-70 totes a day and each weighed in between 20-40lb (Max is supposed to be 30 but people kept putting too much glass in). Repetitive movement with the weight started fucking up one of my forearms and my weekends weren't enough for them to completely heal.

Anyway, rant over about that place.

Yeah, it healed up in about a week. Didnt take that much time. Just needed more than a couple days.

@sulana if you want to get into 3D modeling, it’s not too too difficult to get the hang of; you just need to have a basic understanding of Geometry.

I could argue it’s not even that, a lot of it is placing vertices and connecting them with edges, then filling in the faces.

A basic bolt-action rifle like the AWP would be a good starting attempt, there aren’t a lot of difficult curvatures to model.

The problem with the Stahlhelm I have is where the brow plate melds into the dome and the neck flare because the curvature goes in 3 different directions as well as having to eventually conform to a circle, but the AWP is mostly rectangular or cylindrical prisms.

That said, knowing how to 3D model is quite handy when you don’t know how to draw for shit. My current YouTube banner was drawn in Paint.net, but traced from some basic 3D models in blender.

I don’t want to, but I’m thinking I’ll have to eventually make modifications to the brow plate, which sucks because I spent a lot of time on getting that the way I wanted it.
