Would taxidermy/Bone cleaning count as artwork? (Obviously I'd only ever share the finished product as I understand the exteme discomfort with progress pics of such things.) I am currently finishing up my very first "proper" bone cleaning. I'm extremely proud as it's a chipmunk (please don't worry. I did not harm it. My cat got to it) and I'd like to share since it was a lot of delicate work and waiting. I currently have the bones I was able to save in a peroxide bath. It should be done in a few hours. If such can't be shown here for any reason I understand :)

I personally would prefer not to see as I don't agree with doing it, but if its not against the rules I wouldn't stop you my dude

Yeah, my cat is a hunter. I could never harm any animal. Sometimes the initial steps to all the cleaning actually does get to me even if I know the animal is already gone. Also I understand, it's definitely not everyone's thing. There are a lot of people who disagree with it to extreme extents. I'm happy you are not on the extreme side of it.

Everyone has their interests and things that make them happy.

I can vibe to that notion my dude, I mainly have issues with people killing animals without good justification, not nearly as much issue with the process of taxidermizing ^^

I don’t hate taxidermy I just am against people killing animals just for taxidermy

If you find an animal that’s already dead that like died out in the wild then I’m fine I kind of find it similar to memorializing it in some way

My favorite three out of all of them.

The bigger skull is a damaged raccoon skull that I found out in the woods. The chipmunk obviously isn't perfect. It was a very delicate skull put in water for two weeks. It did fall apart in the back.
