If you do get around that one, I suggest you watch the old anime instead of the 2016 first because its more thematically successful
I've already seen the first series
the way everything was hand drawn and panned in camera angles
I found the OST to be quite good
made it stellar and it fit the dark fantasy element it was trying at
Black Lagoon was pretty savage though
Black Lagoon have one of the best OP's
the action and the cussing was pretty urban fantasy
Gunslinger Girls was also another good one along with this

Kannazuki no Miko was my first, followed by Fullmetal Panic and Fullmetal Alchemist

Cardcaptor was pretty bland in delivery but the animation and use of visuals is better
