There's just too many MMO's now

It had a rocky start but it's pretty good now.

Abandoning the subscription requirement really boosted its popularity.

Most MMOs have a lukewarm, underwhelming start.

Usually because they're most often rushed out of the door half-finished.

Most companies think that making an MMO will make them filthy rich so they get overconfident and release too soon in a basically alpha state.

The company that made the game Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was so obsessed with making an MMO based on it that they spent everything they had on it before they even got a return from their game

The company imploded overnight and was shut down pretty quickly.

The biggest prolem with that is the risks.

You don't do it right you could have severe complications.

It's not particularly likely if an actual endocrinologist is prescribing doses based off your blood work. But if you're just winging it yourself, you could easily get blood clots or tumors.

Just from a pragmatic standpoint, DIY is unreliable in terms of sustainablity and you could easily have to do without it for a while.

And that's bad.

Once you start this you have to stick with it, forever.
