I want you to explain your logic on the USD/CAD college price thing. Because it doesn't make sense to me

CAD is 70% of 1 USD

1 USD is 1.33 CAD

A person in the USA could attend a Canadian University with a dollar that can go much further provided they have the money already there. Wheras a Canadian is screwed for money no matter what.

Thats before living costs are considered.

Yeah, so if a Canadian went to an American University (I have duel citizenship so I don't know the international rates offhand) they'd be in even more debt than if they stayed in canada

In that regard, yeah, Canada would be cheaper.

So why would you say Canada is only cheaper if you're going with American currency?

Like for business and such, I'd much rather establish company in the USA and earn a stronger American currency than stay in Canada which taxes the hell out of employers, has a weaker currency, has high tax on purchasable goods, expensive housing no matter the province, and high income tax rates.

Canadian healthcare is also terrible.

For serious illness Canadians end up going to the states to get proper treatement.

We're 10 years behind in medical training and equipment.

And because the healthcare is government run, theres no competition to want to get better.

The funnier thing is, our healthcare is only "free" because of how taxed we are.

And the healthcare isn't universal throughout Canada either
