It likes to shut off at random, and its past warranty.
NVidia GeForce GTX 960M
Its handled everything I've thrown at it well enough for me.
Throw arma 3 at it
As I said my main concern is the hard drive is too damn slow. Slower... than it should be.
Yeah, most laptops have 5400 RPM drives.
Not what I mean.
It is a 7200 RPM drive and it's performing worse than a 5400
Weird.
replace with ssd
I want an ssd
It's not worth fixing so, yeah, just going to do that when I get the funds.
My HDD is so damn loud
Maybe catch one during the next big sale
My PC has two HDDs stuffed in it with me being a cheapo on drive speed.
I end up needing more space than anything.
I have a 750gb laptop drive in it that was transplanted from when my ASUS laptop died.
And then a 1tb desktop drive mounted in there.
And thats all my drives slots used up.
I got a 500gb HDD and a 500gb usb
I have copied my most essential stuff that I cannot afford to lose and can't replace, onto a 128 GB USB drive I just got.
Bigger than every other USB drive I've ever had combined.
$40
I need more ram
I only have 4gb
This came with 16 and supports up to 32.
Haven't run out yet.
I always find ways to max out my ram, somehow.
I've managed to not only max out my 16gb of ram, but also have windows start using paging files.
I never max out
I don't do intense gaming
Or run 20 chrome tabs
200*
I normally have 50 - 70 tabs across 3 chrome instances.
20 tabs is on a veeeery good day.
!!DRAMA ALERT!! Recraft called racist for calling someone a monkey on Rust or w/e. Update at 11
I was going to say.... who in their right mind considers a mere 20 tabs *a lot of tabs* ?
I never have more than 10 open
someone that doesnt spend their life on their laptop
I have 100 or so across two or three windows. But I use the Great Suspender extension to automatically suspend inactive tabs so only one per window is active at any given time.
Much better than any other tab manager because it keeps the tab history and loads right back up when you need it.
