I want an ultra monitor. Does anyone here have any experience with free sync monitors?

I own a freesync monitor.

Its asbsolutely fantastic if you have a graphics card that pushes more than 60fps.

No screen tearing in games, and low input latency.

For non gaming though, freesync isn't a relevant feature and doesnt have any cons or benefits.

It should also be noted that freesync is a feature that can only be used by AMD cards.

Nvidia charges money to have g-sync in monitors.

AMD's freesync protocol is free.

AMD has pretty much caught up with Nvidia in power consumption. But I agree on the front they haven't released direct competition with Nvidia's high end stuff yet.

My RX 480 is pushing anywhere between 130- 150fps being much weaker than a single 1080 😛
