@veggydip also make sure to drain all the old gas and put in about a gallon of 93 before you attempt a first start

use a bit in a spray bottle into the carb directly to start more easily

ALSO

check the engine bay for vaccum leaks, as these can give the car issues just as bad as the carb can cause
