The PS3 had just as much problems with overheating as the 360. It just wasn't as infamous for it for whatever reason.

Both families vastly improved their cooling systems this gen.

Though the PS4's still is awkwardly in the back where most people are going to cover it up by shoving it it against something.

my ps4 gets hot but i keep it on a 2brick height lego legs

i prefer the steam controller :P

Most PCs have a fan that actually is strong enough.

1 time i was playing bf4 in the summer with no ac on my ps4 with 2 other ps4s in the room and my ps4 emergincy shutdown

The 360 and PS3 had pathetically weak fans that were weaker than what you could do with your own breath.

u always need like a controller or joystick

or else the dontrolls suck

Flying in particular you just can't do with a mouse and keyboard.

but not flight sims

Then you get games like Civilization that despise a controller.

mouse and keyboard can also be clunky

Civilization actually works quite well with steam controller

rapid quick moves can be easily mispressed on pc

No I don't think Steam Controller is some glorious wonder controller. I think it's one of the worst controllers in modern times.
