controlling your game and making it easy to control is pretty important, so yeah

2017-02-19 17:36:51 UTC

sup dudes

But not to the degree it's hyped up to be. In general PC gamers greatly exaggerate UI problems. And often claim there is a problem when there isn't one and what they're really saying is that "I'm butthurt that the console version has a functional, stable UI."

2017-02-19 17:38:34 UTC

so hows life dudes?

2017-02-19 17:38:52 UTC

Definitely not to that degree, no. But it is a bit of a pain to navigate Skyrims default UI with M/KB without the use of external UI mods that make it more M/KB friendly.

Worst offender in recent memory was Dragon Age: Inquisition's PC fanbase. They kept whining to no end about UI problems that didn't exist just because they were sore that the console versions integrated UI elements that used to be exclusive to the PC version of Dragon Age Origins. And they didn't like no longer being *superior* and threw such a tantrum over problems that didn't exist that they delayed BioWare's efforts to patch the game which delayed fixing serious game braking dialogue bugs
When the game launched you could not finish the main quest because certain dialogue cutscenes would lock up and the controls would stop responding and you'd just be stuck there with the NPCs just standing there doing nothing. Because of the childish whining of the PC community this was not patched until patch 4.

Same deal with MGSVs UI. It's well designed and works fine, but there is no mouse support for navigating most menus in the game witch makes it kind of an annoyence to use.

2017-02-19 17:41:02 UTC

Well, that's just the entitled side of the PC community that we don't talk about tbh XD

2017-02-19 17:41:06 UTC

Not all PC gamers are entitled, arrogant, selfish children like this. But the ones that are sure do seem to get their way whenever they want.

2017-02-19 17:41:11 UTC

Then ruin it for everyone else pff

2017-02-19 17:41:32 UTC

It doesn't matter if most are not like that since these ones are so loud and in your face.

2017-02-19 17:41:35 UTC

Us PC gamers just reap the rewards that the whiney ones bitch and complain for

2017-02-19 17:42:21 UTC

And when they complain about a problem that doesn't exist purely to spite consoles and it ends up delaying patches for EVERYONE, PC included?

2017-02-19 17:42:59 UTC

what's this new term for Horror games now

2017-02-19 17:43:14 UTC

"walking simulator" "Cinematic Movie"

2017-02-19 17:43:23 UTC

and that dumb bullshit

2017-02-19 17:43:35 UTC

You're talking about Resi7, I'm assuming?

2017-02-19 17:43:40 UTC

yes

2017-02-19 17:44:16 UTC

I don't understand it, people didn't say that stuff about Outlast when it came out right?

2017-02-19 17:44:49 UTC

PC gamers that campaign for a feature that doesn't exist on consoles JUST to spite them need to crawl back in their hole and stay there tbh

2017-02-19 17:45:13 UTC

They usually get their way and end up hurting everyone.

2017-02-19 17:45:17 UTC

2017-02-19 17:47:01 UTC

I don't really play many horror games tbh and don't inteand on playin resi7

2017-02-19 17:47:08 UTC

2017-02-19 17:48:08 UTC

Less gameplay in favour of pretty graphics

2017-02-19 17:48:16 UTC

what?

2017-02-19 17:48:53 UTC

Some Fallout modders didn't take consoles getting mods well. They were offended by the very idea. You may have heard about mods being stolen and illegaly posted on Bethesda.net. That's..... not really true. It was a group of a half dozen people, a prominent Bethesda game modder and his friends, stagging it. They'd deliberately steal other people's mods from Nexus and post it on Beth just to stir up trouble. Then they'd go to legimately posted mods and claim that they were stolen. And then, to put the cherry on top, they'd post original mods on Bethesda.net that were designed to damage save games, or even the console itself.

One such mod was the Craftable Peasent Pult, which was created by the ringleader of this whole thing, DDProductions83

2017-02-19 17:49:54 UTC

That mod was designed to corrupt save games.

2017-02-19 17:50:06 UTC

.-.

2017-02-19 17:50:14 UTC

well then

2017-02-19 17:50:34 UTC

Don't let anyone tell you that all PC gamers are saints. Or that the modding community was victimized by the console gamers.

2017-02-19 17:50:56 UTC

It wasn't like they advertised that it was going to corrupt your save.

2017-02-19 17:51:18 UTC

It was part of a larger campaign to attack console players.

2017-02-19 17:51:32 UTC

Not all PC gamers are saints. Far from it. But neither are all consoles gamers. Every community has their fair share of cancer.

2017-02-19 17:51:39 UTC

The whole mod theft thing for Fallout 4 never happened. DDProductions83 and a few of his friends staged the whole thing.

2017-02-19 17:52:03 UTC

i'm beginning to want to round up these dipshit gamers and burn them to a crisp with a flamethrower
