and isn bulky
The layout was good, but the form factor was terrible.
It was way too small for my hands. And I was 11 when I got one.
It also holds your wrists too close together.
Have to noticed how all controllers have a bowed shape now? A curve to them?
Yeah.... that's why
Designs like on the GameCube controller ***ABSOLUTELY*** would damage your wrists with prolonged use.
And Nintend didn't seem to get that lesson until recently.
idk i guess my hands are tiny
That's why so many Wii, DS, and 3DS games nagged you about taking breaks.
;-;
Because Nintendo knew its designs were bad for your wrists but they didn't do anything to fix it beyond warning you, vaguely, that playing too long was bad for your health.
o shit i played that shit my whole school life'
everyday before and after schoo;
And your wrists suffered from them.
more then 136hrs of gameplay
no
It's different when you're younger. Your body can heal damage more easily.
literally my wrist are as good as any the only thing that injured them was when i fell on one and caused a sprain
The older you got the worse it was on your wrists.
i stopped playing games 2 yrs ago
dont get me wrong i still play them every now and again
It's why Nintendo nags you about playing too long. And it's why controller designs all changed in the last decade and why they all have basically the same shape now even if the button layout is different.
Gone are the days when each system had distinctive shapes to their controllers.
That was dangerous and opened up the console makers to lawsuits.
xbox controller looks good
does it cause the same damage?
o:
That's the design I'm talking about.
They pioneered the design that is now standard.
Look at the Switch Pro Controller. It's an Xbox Controller in all but name and materials it's made of. Essentially identical in all other ways in how it's shaped.
that controller looks retarded
lol
wait
can u seperate it and still be able to play
?
apparently you can
Yeah its like one its biggest marketing points
The Switch definitely was poorly made
I think it had the potential to live up to its hype.
