Besides I need some kind of physical pain to be female. Since I'm going to miss out on periods, this'll be the next closest thing.

2017-04-04 15:04:54 UTC

Totally, I'm not trans, I don't claim to know anything really. But it seems that the long term happiness of trans people is dependent on whether they can pass or not.

2017-04-04 15:05:39 UTC

??

2017-04-04 15:06:12 UTC

I think I can.

2017-04-04 15:06:22 UTC

My main problem is my facial and body hair.

2017-04-04 15:06:29 UTC

You ever post selfies?

2017-04-04 15:06:36 UTC

I have more of it than most people and it grows way, way faster than most people's do.

2017-04-04 15:06:38 UTC

You think about lazer hair removal?

2017-04-04 15:06:46 UTC

I need that.

2017-04-04 15:06:51 UTC

it's permanent I think

2017-04-04 15:07:01 UTC

But it's considered cosmetic so insurance won't pay. And it's very expensive.

2017-04-04 15:08:01 UTC

Laser isn't exactly right for the face though.

2017-04-04 15:08:07 UTC

That's too bad

2017-04-04 15:08:18 UTC

If it accidentally gets into your eyes..... well enjoy being blind the rest of your life.

2017-04-04 15:08:36 UTC

For your face you need electrolsys. It's much more expensive, much more painful, but also much more effective.

2017-04-04 15:08:50 UTC

Laser usually takes many attempts before it permanently kills hairs.

2017-04-04 15:08:54 UTC

It just slows it at first.

2017-04-04 15:09:01 UTC

yeah

2017-04-04 15:09:21 UTC

I had a friend that did it to her leg hair because she was tired of shaving it and finally got a good job

2017-04-04 15:09:27 UTC

Took her almost a year I think

2017-04-04 15:09:59 UTC

If I had the money, I'd start removal immediately.

2017-04-04 15:10:47 UTC

It's unfortunate but I guess you'll have to start saving for it

2017-04-04 15:11:34 UTC

I can't.

2017-04-04 15:12:01 UTC

Lol I've never shaved in all 20 years of life. I don't grow facial hair. Must mean I have low T

2017-04-04 15:12:10 UTC

I have to get by on governent benefits. I have tried to get under my own support but it's like the system is rigged to keep me in it.

2017-04-04 15:12:21 UTC

or just how your genetics express themselves

2017-04-04 15:12:22 UTC

If I save too much money, they assume I don't need what I'm getting and cut what I get.

2017-04-04 15:12:57 UTC

I hate that shit

2017-04-04 15:13:31 UTC

it's not even close to the same, but I always miss out on financial aid for school because I make just a little too much to qualify for it

2017-04-04 15:13:37 UTC

but I can't survive if I don't work

2017-04-04 15:13:47 UTC

It's genetics. The amount of testoserone you have absolutely makes no difference whatsoever in how much hair you grow and how fast it grows. All testoserone does for hair is simply flip a switch and turn it on once you have enough testorone and unfortunately doesn't take much.

2017-04-04 15:14:08 UTC

It does take time for your hair to kick into full gear but more and more testosterone won't speed that up.

2017-04-04 15:14:29 UTC

I had to start shaving when I was 12

2017-04-04 15:14:38 UTC

It's a reason why testoserone products have all those warnings for women, and especially pregant women, to not physically touch it.

2017-04-04 15:15:12 UTC

I have low T.

2017-04-04 15:15:19 UTC

It's why I stand a pretty good chance of passing.

2017-04-04 15:15:24 UTC

I didn't fully mascuilinize.

2017-04-04 15:15:48 UTC

But that didn't make a difference with the hair because, as I said, all the T does is turn it on, not control how much there is and how fast it is.

2017-04-04 15:15:52 UTC

Nice

2017-04-04 15:15:55 UTC

small favors

2017-04-04 15:16:30 UTC

My voice is on the deep side for a girl, but rather high pitched for male. So it's kind of ambigous. Which is better than distinctly male I suppose.
