Right now I have my notebook plugged into my DSL modem. My entire home network is down until they fix their routing tables. My tablet is offline until then, so no more Babylon 5.

On the bright side after an hour on the phone with someone useless, I got transferred to someone who had a clue.
He understood "the modem is in bridge mode". and "routed /26 network", as well as "legacy DSL, there is no authentication or PPPoE"
