Well good for you @Gratowl. I recognize that but there were some deeper assumptions I was starting from.
Keep the Thirty Years War off my server. I'm France, take it over to Germany (aka Bechtloff's server).
lol. I'll do that.
@mattforney it’s not catholic vs Protestant but sure
He just doesn't want any shit flinging to happen. Which is fine.
Who is flinging shit
preemptive strike
No one is shit flinging. Can't risk it though.
I only have this server for one reason: so I can take callers on my show. If I have to start modding, it goes. I'm not even remotely interested in drama
@mattforney no problem Matt, understood.
@everyone Due to poor Internet at my current location, there likely won't be any livestreams this week. However, I've just about secured a permanent apartment, so they'll be returning soon.

he has officially gone over the deep end
Just do it.
@mattforney Do you plan on getting Roosh's works reissued through THP after he got kicked off Amazon?
(Game, FSIF etc. etc.)
@fokkertism We'd be happy to if he approaches us, but Roosh has his own contingency plan already in effect.
The e-book versions of his books are still available, the only issue he might have is getting the paperback back into print.
the upside here is that the E.U. also decided to sanction Hungary today, meaning that the chances of the E.U. imploding in the near future just quadrupled
Roosh ought to ask Castalia House to publish the print versions.
@CynicInChief does Castalia have their own printer or are they relying on CreateSpace or another print-on-demand service? If the latter, Amazon will just block Roosh again
@mattforney They have their own printer and physical online book store. They have also partnered with Ingram, the largest independent book publisher to do their comics, so I assume they are either using them to print and distribute physical books as well or they might be able to do that. Roosh could get directly into bookstores if that's the case.
Either way, Castalia would let him sell physical books again, and probably at a higher quality than CreateSpace.
@everyone Quick informal poll: how many of you would be interested in me providing episodes of Matt Forney Live in podcast format via SoundCloud/iTunes? I'm paying $12 a month for SoundCloud and not really using it for anything other than uploading old episodes of This Alt-Right Life, so putting up audio-only Matt Forney Live episodes might be a good way to use it, particularly for those of you who can't catch the show live and want it in an easier to download format.
I work from home so not something I would use too much
Not saying it is a bad idea, but it is a bit chicken and egg for you. A nice bonus to offer but is it worth justifying the expense now
well, I have to pay SoundCloud anyway in order to maintain the archive of my podcasts
I'm just wondering if I should spend an extra half-hour or so putting the livestreams up there as well
I'd probably listen to them more. It's hard to listen to livestreams at work, especially when you're being interrupted every 15 minutes to fix something. I've been keeping up with the Killstream via their Zencast.fm feed. Soundcloud is harder to get a feed from, but I'd be able to keep up with it then.
@CynicInChief I have a SoundCloud RSS feed (it's how I feed the show to iTunes), would that work?
I do YouTube
@mattforney Yeah it works fine, I've got my podcast app subscribed to it.
Some people just upload podcasts, but never turn on the RSS feed or even enable downloading.
I listen to at least 10x more on podcasts than on YouTube
@everyone Anyone interested in me doing a stream of Super Seducer 2? It's only $6 on Steam (excluding the "DLC," a bunch of videos that I'm not buying and don't want to watch).
That sounds like fun. The first one had plenty of material to bounce off of. Also the guy would fully commit to the asshole choices which was a hoot.
@everyone Just bought the game. Turns out it was $10, not $6: the latter was the discounted Georgia price, but because I'm an American, I had to pay the American price. Gonna set up a stream for tomorrow afternoon, so show me some mammons!
@everyone fixing technical problems with the stream, will be back shortly
