I've always liked Chicago and it saddens me to see what's happening to the place
it's a way more chill and livable city than NYC or LA
I worked in LA for 3 years. That place is really, truly horrible

All around. Lived in Manhattan Beach but my work took me all over the city
LA is not a bad city
Except for some south
The traffic stole my soul

I was born and raised in rural Maryland, and live there now. So cities don’t jive with me period

There was some cool stuff about LA, but in general I didn’t care for it

I spent a good bit of time in Pasadena and Monrovia. It was ok
The beach towns were ok too. Everything was just so expensive
If I had to say my most positive thing about LA, is the weather.

very hard but there's not much point, just learn Russian instead, it's much easier and everyone here speaks it
everyone else in the Caucasus also speaks it so you can communicate with people in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Chechnya, Ossetia etc.
