2017-12-03 19:51:24 UTC

People can’t usually place my accent (beyond “American”) because I lived part of my developing years in California and part in Louisiana.

2017-12-03 19:51:49 UTC

that would sound interesting

2017-12-03 19:51:59 UTC

2017-12-03 19:52:37 UTC

I still need to visit Boston someday. But living in the Seattle area it’s just so far.

2017-12-03 19:53:44 UTC

So my next 2 vacations which involve an overnight stay will be Vancouver and Spokane, most likely. The latter not exactly a tourist destination, but hey, it’s in my state, and I might as well check it out.

I am happy to live near Seattle, a city that does get a relatively large number of tourists, because it means sometimes I get to see an online friend when they visit, and my only fee to travel is a trip on the county bus.
