Can confirm, I'm from a jehovas witness family but luckily my dad isn't, which made things a little better. But I know some kids who aren't even let phones of their own, the youngest is home schooled and the other goes to a school owned by their parents. And kids in the religion are also pressured to not get a degree because "God is what matters most!" It's crazy tbh
