Like a pose for a example, kinda hard for me to imagine what it looks like for a person standing sideways, but I take a reference photo, add the simple outline of that pose and then add what I want to it.

I just get a position of a skull I want, do a similar outline of it, and add all the details I want.

my boyfriend is really good at drawing things like that, armour, poses, Death etc

he thinks he is bad but he isnt

I always look back on my past drawings and see all the flaws in them.

That's the thing, I love looking back and seeing how I have progressed.
