If they do that, they'll start losing customers to a better competitor who provides the same or better services for the lower or same price
Because I’d rather allow the FTC to have stronger powers against the ISP monopolies, rather than letting the FCC laze around
I saw the trailer on Twitter this morning and I laughed with Glee cause it's going to be fucking awesome. Can't wait until may
A large portion of the population doesn't have any other ISP to switch to
A website or app is just a commodity
So why shouldn't it be sold like any other commodity
Also, Verizon, Comcast, AT&T, Warner Cable, those are ever present as alternatives for an ISP
I know many people who use mobile networking as their main form of internet connection
Not all ISPs are available everywhere
^
there is a basic monopoly
There's only like 2 you can get where I live
Both are fucking terrible
^
even the small states
have like 1
sometimes
not even two
I live in a pretty major state
But you could buy Verizon or any mobile network to substitute
Although in the less populated area
Comcast is also a big ISP with huge coverage, great speeds, and quite affordable depending on the package
It's not available where I live
Like I said before Verizon, AT&T, or some other mobile network covers your area with 4G services
To use as home internet?
Yep
im pregnant
How
Lots of people do it here in my county because our ISP is shit, and the local ISP is losing business
Verizon has a MiFi jetpack that functions as a hotspot
I use one
How much does the internet cost
and its like 45-50 bucks a month for unlimited data
and what speed
Speed depends on the package and jetpack you get
Mine is basic and I've maxed it at like 32 mbps
How much do you pay for it
45 a month for unlimited
I do have other lines too
but about 45 a month
