Is anyone else pleased with the way Star Wars Rebels is going? The Clone Wars was geared towards action and character drama, however in addition to rather than in place of action, Disney’s putting a bit of an existential twist on it.

I also like how they’re tying up the lose ends they create.

In contrast to the Disney movies of Star Wars, Rebels is doing pretty well as far as I’m concerned.

There is a problem in the animation where close-ups of the Inquisitor’s lightsabers, the spinning somehow causes a choppy framerate, like it’s 30fps trying to be 60fps slow mo.

The animators and writers couldn’t help but avoid the typical Disney style in the beginning with the floppy hair and bad slap-stick comedy, but I have a feeling that was most likely to rope in the existing Disney audience.
