The weird thing is my grandpa-in-law also died the same year. The same month, only a few days after each other..

It doesn't matter what he meant by it, what his drama was over. His comment wasn't funny.. It was highly stupid and he needs to know how stupid his comment was.

O look, I don't dislike the guy, I don't know him personally, but it was a stupid comment. He clearly has no idea what it's like to watch someone die of cancer. Anything you've seen in movies is far too glamorous and to the point. People with cancer don't just 'drop' dead. They wither away like raisons. Slowly dehydrated and starving to death because they cannot eat or drink, while at the same time vomiting green liquid (bile). Then they are hit with seething pain and if they don't lose their minds in the process, they beg for your help while they''re limboing in between life and death. Then they turn purple an inch at a time starting with their finger tips until it's finally over.
