things aren't changing for me

im not going to college at 18, im not living on my own, nothing's changing for me

and I'm not as functional as most people my age. I'm going a lot slower because of my mental health. I'm behind everyone and people think I'm lazy and it's just going to get worse once I'm 18

I've never worked, I can't talk to people, I can't drive, I'm not going to college, I can't handle common environments, I spend a disproportionate amount of my free time lying down. I can tell people think I can do better. Most people my age do better

and I really wish I could look people in the eye and have a conversation -- I wish I could talk to people
