And if they seek help to better themselves for it and get therapists that's great. Ones who have acted on it should be burned at the stake.
See I wouldn't hold that idea even to child molesters
I'm not necessarily against capital punishment but it honestly irks me when I see people say "he should be killed" in reaction to an immoral action
You're right. That's too good for them. They can rot in prison until they just give out.
There's a reason these people aren't those who coordinate the legal system
Well the legal system is about talking it out and using rationality, passion shouldn't ever be a factor
If there is rational reason to use capital punishment, sure
haha rational reason
i'm not having a very good brain day
Just lock them up and let them die of old age being forced to remember what they did in ruining someone's life.
It's okay, we can't all have perfect brain days!
We're human after all.
12 angry men is a good film about this
and I think everyone should watch it
Yes! An excellent film!
Reading it was obnoxious, but the film itself did it justice.
It'd be great to show at schools
I wish that schools would show stuff like that. Or have us read 1982. Or Inferno. Or Crime and Punishment.
Like, things that make people think about our future and how things are run presently.
I hate reading
I need a bigger book shelf.
I don't know how I am going to move all this stuff to Hawaii with my boyfriend...
City of god, Fight club, donnie darko, and american psycho all would be thought provoking movies for me
Though I don't like the actual film of american psycho that much, I really appreciate the social commentary
Sorry, got busy with work suddenly. Those aren't bad movies either if you want to delve into psychology as opposed to living in a heavily controlled society like the books I listed.
Psychology is fascinating.
Whats you're favourite movie?
Who, moi?
Oh yeah I'm probably more interested in psychological movies
Fight Club
Jurassic Park. Without even thinking about it.
No hesitation.
I was a dinosaur kid and grew up to be a dinosaur adult. :^)
Well City of God isn't psychological. It's about characters in a troubled environment
Second favorite has to be Bram Stoker's Dracula.
Also, I haven't seen that one so I will add it to my list.
They're in the slums of a poor country with corrupt law enforcement and a corrupt government
It's amazing, you're gonna have to read subtitles though since it's in portuguese
I don't mind foreign movies!
Ooh, have you seen the Korean movie Old Boy?
