I prefer to skip tutorials, and just jump into games not knowing what to do, because I like making life hard for myself.

Mordhau is a actual medieval fighting style

Its german and they used it to bust open knights.

Another method for this was hand a half swording, you would hold the hilt and the middle of the sword and use it to stab in between armor points on a knight or heavily armored opponent
