At least in the department I work in. Then again patient acuity has doubled.
More people getting sicker and younger too
Not just the geriatric group
Which is 90% of the hospital
That’s my take on it
Ahh yeah, was just curious since I'm a bit more familiar with the job descriptions of RNs rather than NA's besides just the basics
God it's fucking impossible getting my bird to eat healthy
She nosedives when she sees a cheeseburger or spaghetti but won't touch fruits and vegetables
Birb
🤔
hh
Yeah NA just can’t pass meds or do certain procedures. We do a lot of the dirty work lol
What type of bird? 😲
I want a conure!
Depends on your certification too.
My bf is an RN in educator's position, so I hear about it a lot. Mostly complaining but. An LPN has very different duties than an RN
Yeah definitely depends on the facility
At one hospital NAs can put IVs in. I’m not allowed nor trained to do that where I work (which sucks because I practice phlebotomy there)
It’s basically the same with a couple extra steps
But that’s the facilities policy
For real 😒 but it is what it is
I want to try to go back to school to get my RN
Multiple people have told me I should
I just hate school so much lmao
But I’m gonna do it eventually
At least while I’m still young
Do it! You got this!
Is that sushi?
eating scampi rn
What... is that?
Looks like cheese on top of grey tentacles
lol
*dick cheese*
*no*
*that's disgusting*
Looks pretty. Not into fish or raw things. But nice presentation
I can’t get the smell of half-cooked lobster out of my nose
It was all over the plant
Fuckin
