I'm naturally leaning towards rescuing but their behavior is kinda unpredictable then
Just know that having them in pairs will make it harder to have tame birds btw
They tend to bond with eachother over their human
It's still possible to get them tamed but it will be a lot of handling and work
Well the breeder ik hand tames them all anyway
That's cool
She's been breeding for like 40 years
Having 2 cages with them side by side is also an option too
But also if I rescue I'll likely be forced to get a group of them
Like even with the cockatiel
My bird is in a double cage rn
ayyy
I think we're using a critter nation rn
I should probably get her dna sexed tho
I think it's fairly easy to tell budgies sex
Hey Funeral
Yeah I love their little purple noses
Ours is definitely a female
Hi Squeaks
tryina find the cage we use
IDK aren't female cockatiels less friendly to other birds
Rn they're all in one cage because of the space problem
Being in an rv
IDK how you do it
Once we get into property they'll get their housing back
Females can be a bit more touchy in all parrots tbh
Funeral
Hecc u
Both might bond to you as a partner
She's a bit of a bitch
LOL
She's still a juvie
She'll get nicer later
Our green cheek did the same
She leans down for me to pet her and if I'm not hitting the right spot she bites me
Super sweet as a baby
Turned into a twat waffle for like almost 2 years
And is now a mostly balanced birb
God I hope so
LOL
