2019-11-25 21:57:19 UTC

PLASTIC STRAWS DID NOTHING WRONG

2019-11-25 21:58:10 UTC

One use plastic mass manufactured and unrecycleable and takes countless years to degrade?

2019-11-25 21:58:23 UTC

They did plenty wrong

2019-11-25 21:58:27 UTC

But I do miss them

2019-11-25 22:00:27 UTC

Mood

2019-11-25 22:01:11 UTC

Although someone mentioned to me in a FB post once that was a good point. That certion people have issues with mobility or tremors or otherwise that makes it hard for them to hold and lift a cup up to their mouth

2019-11-25 22:01:35 UTC

The straws themselves are a negligible contribution to it, but they mess up charismatic species so they get more attention. Single use plastics are a problem, and they're really only popular because they are cheaper to manufacture than to recycle reusables.

2019-11-25 22:02:08 UTC

2019-11-25 22:02:41 UTC

What is up my african american @InfantArsonist

2019-11-25 22:02:56 UTC

I mean if we take every bit of reusable plastic that is "negligible" it becomes quite not negligible
Utensils and otherwise that are often used around the same time

2019-11-25 22:03:17 UTC

Plastic utensils are also v bad

2019-11-25 22:03:37 UTC

Like yo tbh just bring a fork with you if u know ur finna

2019-11-25 22:04:52 UTC

I think glass Tupperware is also a better alternative
There is less an incentive to lose them and they last way longer quality wise

2019-11-25 22:05:13 UTC

Been transitioning my family to glasswear little by little

2019-11-25 22:05:24 UTC

Bought our first real plate set

2019-11-25 22:05:24 UTC

Glass is to fragile
Plastic Tupperware makes sense

2019-11-25 22:05:30 UTC

They didn't break anything so

2019-11-25 22:05:31 UTC

We good

2019-11-25 22:05:34 UTC

@Repzion Hey man can you make a general voice chat #2?

2019-11-25 22:05:42 UTC

Glass Tupperware is made thicker so it doesn't break

2019-11-25 22:05:50 UTC

For children it makes sense

2019-11-25 22:05:53 UTC

But like

2019-11-25 22:06:01 UTC

Deffo children

2019-11-25 22:06:13 UTC

If ur an adult and ur really breaking glass Tupperware u should prolly finna check yourself

2019-11-25 22:06:29 UTC

Okay boomer

2019-11-25 22:08:30 UTC

Once I saw reusable plastic zip bags as a thing
I wish those were more easily available and popularized
But ya know
Consumerism and repurchasable goods

2019-11-25 22:09:07 UTC

The convenience of trash is the profit of companies

2019-11-25 22:09:12 UTC

Just throw away your shit when you’re done with it and don’t leave trash on the streets

2019-11-25 22:09:30 UTC
