calling it
nah, its gonna be like, half life 2 remastered, but you play as alyx in VR
What billy says.
or some shit
If this game gets the adoption rate valve likes
Then we get half life three
But if it flops financially
Then rjp
There's a good chance this will be the first big vr game tho
half life 3 will be duke nukem forever again
Nah. Valve could pull it off with vr
Imagine valve index 3. 4k each eye. 240fps. Releases with half life three
probably not as bad as duke, but it could never live up to the hype
<:wholesomethonk:373550351082848267>
Yeah probably not billy-kun
I want vr to be successful because I want the non gaming applications
IE you want porn
Gimme vr tours. Vr arcades. Vr hunting and fishing. Vr movies with friends
im still not entirely convinced VR isnt a gimmick, ala 3D TVs
yeah but VR is way less like an evolution and more like it's own thing besides traditional gaming
Vr will be a gimmick till it gets killer aps
Till it gets killer apps there is no reason for the average person to use it.
the issue with vr is you gotta try it to be sold on it
The lack of a standard for accessories also really fucking hurts it n
i havent tried it so i dont feel like paying two monthly wages for a box and the goggles
IV yet to see a vr gun. Or vr sword handle.
Or just fingerless gloves ala poweglove style n
Fucking vr devs
well not like you gonna see the attachments with vr on, right?
the index should be pretty close
Your not. But it can help the immersion.
Imagine playing Skyrim and actually swinging a sword handle around with maybe a weight
Or something
<:turt:443131018950606878>
and murdering whoever happens to walk into the room
and then you get a different weapon and you gotta take off your stuff and find the fucking plastic bow attachment in your ~~toy box~~ accessory suitcase
>billy doesn't lock his doors
my doors are super locked
Skyrim was a bad example @spaqin but still design the game around that one weapon.
Like a gun for cod
