based
so stop before you even start trying to benefit from communities
not in the infographics part I stg
that only leads to toxicity and other bullshit
Why are people anti referral if it costs them nothing <:thonkang:327933449597878312>
I personally don't care.
only part is if I decide to implement a deal curation thing @Tervy
@Pawp because in community based sites it ruins them
<:thonk:288060975775612929>
people all want to make money
so they post shitty deals/things
Fair enough I
that no one wants
they dont want other people get a benefit while its accessible without giving a person some benefit i guess
not to mention depending on service the referel whos link was used will see what was bought and when
and some places even by who
most does
I get a user code
good example is amazon referals
I'll show you gimme a second
no
just, no
I'm in amazon, banggood, gearbest and aliex affiliate
<:thonkang:327933449597878312>
most of those have certain degrees of tracking
@Pawp im not against referals as concept if i like some dude i sure could throw my support in like that, but if its comes from total stranger and possibly asshole at that no way in hell im going to use their referal
gear is probably the best
Yeah. I feel that torvy
for privacy
since it just shows numbers
some sites (gotta give it to epicstore in this one) they allow "creator key" style system where you can throw just "coupon code" in there at end of the transaction and the dude gets bonus from it
sadly epicstore still tells what (and who??)
but there its totaly obvious that you are contributing to the dude
and its not in some "s.click.aliex.bullshit" format
what you cant tell who it goes to
@Tervy look, I'm not even spamming them everywhere. I only post them if someone requests [x], or a recommendation, and if it happens that the cheapest place selling the thing I recommend is also somewhere that I'm an affiliate, I link affiliate, but even then I don't disguise the links. I'm very much against spamming them in communities.
I'm not gonna be like
"hurr hurr use my link"
uh
so referrals on csg github with 5x redirects to prevent getting the actual link when
