China's governed by a communist party, but its safe to say their general economic status doesn't square with the label
the individuals do not get to keep their earnings in china; they instead just get privledges just like ANY soviet premeire. in theory, they 'controlled' the property on behalf of the people. but uniltateral control and ownership are virtually the same
China stopped falling when they stopped being communists.
