unless you have like shit idk cancer or something
id assume its because mood is hormones
and bad hormones influence some kind of stressor on cells
idk
im not a biologist
though i do read way too many fucking science journals for my own good and understand about 40% optimistically
Its not just positivity

For many people, a blue pill can cause more of a calming effect for instance
It isn't so linear
yeah colour is also linked to mood alteration
apparently wearing red as a male makes you less attractive to the opposite sex
Placebo/nocebo has limitations, but it is quite powerful
but wearing red as a female makes you more attractive to men
Also a catchall for a lot of unexplained effects
That probably depends on culture I bet.
Interestingly
wearing pink
I mean it depends
as a man
in a double blind study
There are some base association but it seems specific associations are more cultural at least thats what it sounds like
which is strange considering pink is considered a feminine colour and red is masculine
you'd think itd be the opposite conclusion
Red for instance is just a generic high energy salient color
But culturally it can be good or bad or whatever
Its lucky in china. In america its used for stop signs and more negative.
Generally.
I suppose it can also signify danger
and pink is something women are just compulsively attracted to
you can even charge them more for it

Also, pink wasn't always a feminine color
Im aware
Ancient greeks I think?
Right?
Pretty sure.
as my mother kept telling me when i got a designer shirt many a christmas ago
and 14 year old me got annoyed it was fucking pink
Or some culture related to greeks at least
