2019-09-14 18:34:59 UTC

not henry

2019-09-14 18:35:29 UTC

but on the average a monarch's interests are normally in the benefit of the nation

2019-09-14 18:35:39 UTC

Wot

2019-09-14 18:36:08 UTC

they did this by changing the def of what it ment to be british citizen by expanding it to include the commonwealth

2019-09-14 18:36:16 UTC

il give a link

2019-09-14 18:36:33 UTC

its like corruption its much more difficult for a monarch to be corrupt since he would just be acting against his own benefit

2019-09-14 18:36:45 UTC

u working on the fields of your absolute monarch for 18 hours per day is benefit to you?

2019-09-14 18:36:51 UTC

or the nations benefit

2019-09-14 18:37:46 UTC

giving to a person absolute power and not expecting him to be absolutely corrupted

2019-09-14 18:37:52 UTC

wut utopia is dis

2019-09-14 18:38:32 UTC

i mean thomas hobbes gave a example of why the monarchs interests normally benefit the nation but i can't quit remember how he explained this

2019-09-14 18:39:02 UTC

ye and plato wanted an immortal philoshopher king

2019-09-14 18:39:10 UTC

but thats why i believe more in absolute federal monarchy

2019-09-14 18:39:13 UTC

both are utopic shit

2019-09-14 18:40:04 UTC

well a federal monrachy means the decentralision of power

2019-09-14 18:40:16 UTC

which means the king does not have all of the power

2019-09-14 18:40:55 UTC

there for it avoids the problem of absolute power

2019-09-14 18:41:45 UTC

can you point to me an absolute federal monarchy where its citizens/peasants live happily and with a great standard of living

2019-09-14 18:43:08 UTC

@tea_in_space i agree in general monarchs have been FOR the nations interests... but not all of them have and even some that have not always have they been... i think that its bad as it only takes 1 bad apple and typically aswell it typically works under nepotism which is unfair

2019-09-14 18:43:38 UTC

and if i was an absolute monarch my first act would be to make us a constitutional monarch

2019-09-14 18:43:56 UTC

well the only nation that does have a federal monarchy is the UAE but a federal monarchy in the UK or in most european country's would be different since our values are different to the UAE's

2019-09-14 18:44:24 UTC

but a tyrant is either stupid or wise, the majority is always stupid

2019-09-14 18:45:17 UTC

i mean even though most people are alright at the end of the day its all to easy for the majority to shoot them selves in the foot

2019-09-14 18:46:09 UTC

im prefer a system where there are clearly defined and rationalized limits on the front and back ends... and anything in between that is ok. so its do as i do... but a little off from me is still ok... not 'do as i do only or do as i say and not as i do'

2019-09-14 18:46:46 UTC

well thats a fucking word salad and a half

2019-09-14 18:47:11 UTC

do you know what mission control is in the military?

2019-09-14 18:48:03 UTC

its i give you an order to achieve... i dont tell you how to achieve it... so you have options... this gets better results. not 'micromanage every part' or 'follow illegal orders just cuz i told you do'

2019-09-14 18:48:04 UTC

to*

2019-09-14 18:48:40 UTC

thats the essence of what i said in what you termed word salad

2019-09-14 18:50:36 UTC

CUK changed their name again

2019-09-14 18:52:36 UTC

''Until the Commonwealth Immigrants Act 1962, all Commonwealth citizens could enter and stay in the UK without any restriction.''

2019-09-14 18:53:22 UTC

2019-09-14 18:56:01 UTC
