A lot of English people I know want the monarchy or a dictatorship restored, what’s your opinion on this?

I saw someone suggesting we ship all the Im I grants to Scotland

also the Monarchy is the literal fabric that holds the union and England together

so it's quite important

@HAM you think this issue is solely with our government rather than democracy itself?

The Scots should just put Scotland in a ship and blast themselves as far away from England as possible

I come from an family with a monarchrial father

because his grandfather was a monarchist

it's more of a culture thing I guess

The queen hasnt fulfilled her duties

I don’t personally like how she just sits on the fence about everything.

She sits on the fence for numerous reasons

“Queen voted for prime minster”

It would be nice to at least hear her opinion

On something

For once

And not nice for others

firstly because the goverment has practically taken the power away from her, she's just a figurehead at this point

Shes given royal assent to all the laws that have amounted to our dilution

She does have real power but its never been used

secondly her own personal motivation to stay apolitcal

but she doesnt give the final word

Sometimes even it’s annoying it’s a better option

It would be ideal if the queen got behind one side or another

cause I believe that would be the turning point that would put everything to bed for the most part

but that's just ideal dreaming at this point
