Could you argue that taking vindictive/righteous action against a sex slave trader is a chaotic good action?
I suppose that depends on the action
If it is, thats probably the tipping point that'll shift my character's alignment from CN to CG
Inflict severe weather on him
Having a borderline to outright goodie character on a party of neutrals is tough
Traumatizes them with a fictional hurricane <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>
>My party buys a group of sex slaves
>I just stand to the side just looking in a mix of frozen shock and disgust
rpg moral alignment is stupid
Basically my party ranges from having a practical view of slavery to a moral support of it and they want to ally with the russian guy
I find the concept of fictional natural disasters and weather funny
So they want to become slave traders?
My elf has a mild to strong distaste and moral opposition to the idea of slavery and has helped abolish slavery in the country she's a noble in
They plan on selling your character you have kill them first
Evil vs Evil is not necessarily an alignment shift
They want the russian guy as an ally
Because he has an army of clockwork soldiers
They sell you to Russian man to seal the deal
Oh you're neutral. Even then not necessarily a shift to good
He already tried to buy me, they said I wasnt for sale because I have unconventional skills
Go full dark elf on them
I'm mostly looking for rare alchemical ingredients and a way back home
Not a slave yet but soon
I'm planning on an alignment shift because a neutral character could probably resist the urge to act until someone's usefulness has expired
Even if they believe they're scum who deserve hell
What’s the rest of the party
My character can't
Not necessarily. If you see a knife coming for your back, acting to prevent it is sane
The rest of the party seems ok with slavery while I'm not so thats another divider between us.
And being anti-slavery (even when it it legal) is traditionally CG you don't have to be CG over all to still think "yeah fuck slavery".
As for the unconventional skill I have, I'm a master crafter.
With a shrinking wagon thats a portable workstation
You can view it as simply a wasteful allocation of human capital
There's pretty much nothing I cant create
I can create a handful of magical items, dozens of alchemical items, and many mnay mundane items. I even managed to repair a gun that had its mechanism blown apart in a few minutes after seeing it for the first time.
I can improve armor and weapons and etch runes into them
Oh yeah your worth at least 50 grand <:spurdo:500782204788670474>
I can also canonically create alchemical birth control remedies
60 grand
Basically my character has the skills to create nearly anything she has the formula/blueprint to
And even invent some devices
