They would have imitated the process on day one if they thought it would have worked
Just because they've introduced Articles of Impeachment countless times, it doesn't mean he's under impeachment proceedings.
Ayup.
The House must first approve by a two-thirds majority.
No such outcome has unfolded.
remember when the citizenry drove the senate out with guns that one time?
idk I feel like we need to do that again
What I'm saying is *if* they manage to get that majority.
They certainly won't.
The real kicker is its meant to be an action of last resort and what is the literal first idea floated the moment trump won the election?
Republicans have a clear advantage in the House.
ya but you got alot of rhinos and never trump republicans
who in essence are traitors
And this will continue to be the case, as they represent the macroeconomic policies conducive to small business and entrepreneurship, market freedom.
Same as remain tories in the UK
Such is what predominates district-level interests.
How does that make them anti drumpf
Hrm, though completely departing from the President would probably be political suicide at this point, I'd think.
I hope they impeach trump tbh
"trump bad ughhh"
It'll be them basically shooting themselves in the head instead of foot
no
No one will vote for them after such a dirty move
trump getting impeached would make us practically reach for our rifles
Not "no one", unfortunately.
cause we know what the alternative is to him
I think most of the left might get quite red pilled
But you are right that it'd probably cause a literal civil war
Or at least large scale civil unrest and rightfully so
There is a Republican alternative, but yes, I agree departing from Trump would not only be political suicide, but suicide in this socio-political civil war we're fighting. The only Republican better than a Trump would be a Barry Goldwater candidate.
*However* it might make it even harder for the Dems to push someone in.
dems cheat so I wouldnt call it a manner of ease or not
There is also the fact that Trump is pretty good and the replacement repub might not be
God I'd love for a repub who is harder on 2a rights though
Trump is the zenith of what we need now
and he has proven his worth
It's a matter of policy that'd determine viability.
Which is good, because as ubermensch said - the alternative ends up being sudden escalation because the line has been crossed
I don't see the current Republican challenger as all that viable.
