Mead is best when moderately sweet and aged, but I have had some excellent dry meads after they sit for a year or so

I do love that a well made mead is still wicked good fresh off the fermenter, just add some simple syrup to sweeten and pour over ice 👌🏻

I make a vanilla-cinnamon mead that is fucking great. If you keep the ABV high and the sugar content relatively moderate, you can turn it into a great spritzer-like drink with some seltzer water

Over ice? Eh. Never been a fan of iced drinks.
