Nah.
don't be a mong
“We, humans, use electromagnetic waves to communicate on earth.”
*Observes electromagnetic waves in space*
“That must be space men communicating in space!”
they'll just send letters via courier
Hitler's broadcast is still viable presently at the leading edge.
FTL courier, but a courier nonetheless
and it's also like 70 light years out
As I said, "maybe." It's not proof, but it's not disproof, either.
@Laucivol i mean its not like the aliens will exterminatus us the moment they see trannies and other degens
it's gotten to a handful of solar systems
they might lol
hitler signal or not
that or show us a way to fix them
@robert from kinoplex Hell, it might be *their* doing.
or to make them into real girl
Maybe they saw the Hitler signal and say, "Oh hell, no. Not in my backyard."
kek
the space jews
@Laucivol hitler's broadcasts were the olympics tho lol
I go now
phone low battery so i may be gone for the night
The speeches got out, too.
true
TBH I don't think they're even viable
If an intial signal is.. and with sensitive enough equipment?
octopus are aliens that stranded into our oceans and had to devolve, degenerate to survive our enviornment
dont @ me
the signal intensity decreases exponentially with distance
and there's the cosmic background ~~and background from other sources~~ to contend with
Possibility 1) We are observing electromagnetic waves, sent out by alien civilizations eons ago, and we *just happen* to be capable of observing them *precisely* in the window that they actually use electromagnetic waves for communication.
Possibility 2) It’s a naturally occurring phenomena that is continually occurring.
I’m going with 2), folks.
I did work with satcom and LOS eq.. so got a handle on it.
But, I tend to agree with #2.
i just want aliens
>fast radio bursts can be simulated by opening a microwave on earth
>aliens are just opening their planetary microwaves
That said, it's not conclusive # 2.
>***BUT WAIT***
>The EM drive is a microwave strapped to a cone
