2019-07-19 07:33:03 UTC

_muffled zuuuuccccc in the distance_

2019-07-19 07:33:05 UTC

the website is getting so much traffic

2019-07-19 07:33:07 UTC

its crazy

2019-07-19 07:33:19 UTC

Interesting.

2019-07-19 07:33:28 UTC

Oh Zuckerberg has had us in his grasp for such a long time it's almost silly.

2019-07-19 07:33:43 UTC

2019-07-19 07:33:54 UTC

spooooky

2019-07-19 07:34:00 UTC

>you can theoretically track anonymous people if you take their exported meme images from the face app. then check it against which account those exports belong to in the database

Is the database open? @Ayylmao

2019-07-19 07:35:08 UTC

As a tech.. anonymity has not been a thing on the net since its inception.

2019-07-19 07:35:10 UTC

i dont think so

2019-07-19 07:35:18 UTC

im just saying

2019-07-19 07:35:30 UTC

Well it wouldn’t be easy but it’s entirely possible

2019-07-19 07:35:40 UTC

even if you only use the app to use on images of other people, the account is still linked to facebook

2019-07-19 07:36:09 UTC

Like the pretense of anonymity is akin the thought of security.

2019-07-19 07:36:34 UTC

It's *nothing* to a dedicated attacker.

2019-07-19 07:36:38 UTC

The only security on the internet is a lack of interest

2019-07-19 07:36:59 UTC

hey make an aiportrait of this photo

2019-07-19 07:37:19 UTC

i yearn for its majesty

2019-07-19 07:37:51 UTC

As I've said many many times before the only secure computer is that which has never existed.

2019-07-19 07:38:03 UTC

TAILS OS pretty good...

2019-07-19 07:38:12 UTC

js..

2019-07-19 07:38:31 UTC

There are holes in all systems

2019-07-19 07:38:42 UTC

It's just a matter of finding them.

2019-07-19 07:39:27 UTC

well the way tails operates is quite unique in that regard. it operates only in RAM, using no local storage and everything is wiped on shutdown. when you use it again its as if you never used it

2019-07-19 07:39:45 UTC

the amnesic incognito live system

2019-07-19 07:40:02 UTC

Touch the internet?

2019-07-19 07:40:36 UTC

yes pokes and prods the interwebs

2019-07-19 07:40:49 UTC

Leaves traces.

2019-07-19 07:41:05 UTC

Traces even exist in RAM.

2019-07-19 07:41:29 UTC

well yes no one is "invisible" unless you dont have a Social security number. but i mean basically anything you did wouldnt be saved

2019-07-19 07:41:34 UTC

Complicated to retrieve, but possible.

2019-07-19 07:41:37 UTC

and yes but ram clears itself in 30 seconds

2019-07-19 07:41:44 UTC

youd have to flash freeze the ram with nitrogen

2019-07-19 07:42:09 UTC

Nope, there's still residual charge until overwrite.

2019-07-19 07:42:43 UTC

Like I said, it's real complicated to have no trace.

2019-07-19 07:42:52 UTC

well nothing is perfect but its a lot more secure then windows by a long shot was my main point

2019-07-19 07:43:11 UTC

for those who enjoy messing around with linux distros
