why you get multiple barrels

2019-07-19 12:59:11 UTC

And also

2019-07-19 12:59:11 UTC

just like multiple rounds

2019-07-19 12:59:15 UTC

reload the barrel

2019-07-19 12:59:30 UTC

You can just not fire at such intensity for *every shot*

2019-07-19 12:59:32 UTC

Sure, Russia has land, but it's mostly inhabited

2019-07-19 12:59:36 UTC

**gatling railguns?**

2019-07-19 12:59:44 UTC

pew pew pewpew pewpewpewpew

2019-07-19 12:59:47 UTC

Having to replace barrel so often just is not practical

2019-07-19 12:59:48 UTC

murica

2019-07-19 12:59:52 UTC

Uhh

2019-07-19 12:59:54 UTC

also

2019-07-19 13:00:00 UTC

you're not going to be firing the railgun

2019-07-19 13:00:01 UTC

very often

2019-07-19 13:00:04 UTC

or at every target

2019-07-19 13:00:11 UTC

just the big kahunas

2019-07-19 13:00:18 UTC

cruise missiles are expensive

2019-07-19 13:00:20 UTC

Really simple fellas

2019-07-19 13:00:21 UTC

we're not firing them at everyone

2019-07-19 13:00:28 UTC

and besides

2019-07-19 13:00:32 UTC

Have the barrels be replacable, but keep the rails

2019-07-19 13:00:37 UTC

the projectiles with railguns are very **inexpensive**

2019-07-19 13:00:44 UTC

to offset the price of the barrels

2019-07-19 13:01:10 UTC

Railgun projectiles are literally a chunk of metal

2019-07-19 13:01:14 UTC

exactly

2019-07-19 13:01:15 UTC

cheap

2019-07-19 13:01:19 UTC

Besides, what are the biggest navel guns in widespread use currently?
For the british it's a meager 3 inch gun. Surely if there was need for something with more impact, they could fit something larger.

2019-07-19 13:01:41 UTC

A railgun would destroy a destroyer in 1 shot probably

2019-07-19 13:01:42 UTC

yeah, projectile is relatively cheaper. But the barrel is not.

2019-07-19 13:01:45 UTC

Lets see

2019-07-19 13:01:46 UTC

bruh

2019-07-19 13:01:49 UTC

they were test firing

2019-07-19 13:01:49 UTC

Cost of railgun

2019-07-19 13:01:52 UTC

in 2008

2019-07-19 13:01:54 UTC

Vs cost of warship

2019-07-19 13:02:25 UTC

did we know the US has the most tonnage of steel in the military of the entire world. and you could add the tonnage of the next 3 countries in line and still not be close
