I am on the doomed left coast

2019-08-30 04:21:05 UTC

Century fucked up the Sporter so for the latest run they had PTR do it

2019-08-30 04:21:13 UTC

If it's not an earthquake that deals the final blow it will be wild fires or volcanoes... and lord knows the insane libtards on the left coast are begging for a rapture

2019-08-30 04:21:15 UTC

I meaqn even in the People's Republic of California you can own a cool ass lever gun. Not kidding here one day I will own a Sharps I love those things.

2019-08-30 04:22:03 UTC

lol "Republic"

2019-08-30 04:22:13 UTC

Like **love** cowboy shooters. To the point I do tactical reload drills at the range.

2019-08-30 04:22:30 UTC

that's got to be fun

2019-08-30 04:23:53 UTC

Winchester 1886 for me

2019-08-30 04:24:00 UTC

Well Ok practically if you are down to three on a carbine you have to ditch the mag and reload. With a lever whenever there is a pause in firing you can load rounds from an ammo pouch regardless. The timing is weird but it is a lot of fun.

2019-08-30 04:24:02 UTC

One day...

2019-08-30 04:25:09 UTC

There are all those pistol calibers but I like that phat ass sexy 30-30.

2019-08-30 04:26:01 UTC

I would love to play with an 1886

2019-08-30 04:27:31 UTC

2019-08-30 04:27:54 UTC

Such a handsome gun for the ages

2019-08-30 04:28:05 UTC

2019-08-30 04:28:36 UTC

Something about lever guns

2019-08-30 04:28:57 UTC

the old westerns immortalized them

2019-08-30 04:29:16 UTC

Clint and the Duke... good times

2019-08-30 04:29:40 UTC

The Russians used them in WW1

2019-08-30 04:29:50 UTC

i didn't know that

2019-08-30 04:30:14 UTC

they are a legendary gun. Resilient and reliable and accurate

2019-08-30 04:30:14 UTC

That old B&W TV show *The Rifleman*

2019-08-30 04:30:16 UTC

They used a lot of guns

2019-08-30 04:30:50 UTC

Winchester 1895

2019-08-30 04:31:05 UTC

well during WWI wasn't Russia more tribal and loosely tied?

2019-08-30 04:31:24 UTC

obviously I need to brush up on the zsars

2019-08-30 04:31:35 UTC

Can use Spitzer bullets

2019-08-30 04:32:05 UTC

Idk but the Zsar bought a bunch

2019-08-30 04:32:23 UTC

That and Schofield revolvers

2019-08-30 04:32:34 UTC

interesting

2019-08-30 04:34:04 UTC

You can have yourself a 1886 replica for 1200

2019-08-30 04:34:27 UTC

It's odd the progression in technology but the gaps in military application. Like my Allin was considered a revolutioary infantry weapon because it took a breech loaded cartridge. But the Sharps had been out for years. Or doughboys in WWI getting pump-actions sent from home because they were using bolt-action on the front.

2019-08-30 04:35:18 UTC

They had browning auto 5's too right?

2019-08-30 04:35:31 UTC

Maybe not

2019-08-30 04:36:30 UTC

Maybe in WWI not the Civil War.

2019-08-30 04:37:26 UTC

Arms development is a strange mistress at times
