mhm we had it kinda split in high school but before that we covered shit from mesopotamia in increasing level of detail ahha

i mean between mesopotamia and modern times

we covered the world wars but left out all the other ones besides the civil and revolutionary

is the notion of continuation

there was a time the country was aactually 13 separate princedoms that had completely different systems

but theres a sense of it still being the same country lol its all very artificial

as per the notion of nation being quite a new thing

relative to how much history came before that

yeah you know i think about that quite abit and it makes me worry about my nation but it is a great nation on paper imo its just very easy to fuck up

The only good age of empires was 2.
The only good age of wonders was 1.

i like they solved the issue with having too many armies on the map with making army flanking mechanics

Compared to HoMM, aow1 is a lot more warlords-esque.

Fewer units, quality over quantity.
Heroes that actually matter, level up and get great abilities.
