on the other hand, ive seen a lot of people quadruple down
Gonna see if I can get the stuff ratified
Leveraging any national tragedy to promote politics is the road to flawed legislation. Ben Shapiro makes the best point that certain politicians capitalize on these events to promote laws that disproportionately affect millions based on the acts of the few.
Not yet, but the name of my doc is "based and red pilled"
I highly reccomend it
a femenist looked into doing a documentary about MRA while being fully skeptical, and became an ally for them after realizing how real their gripes were
Also - sauce on Georgia's greatest congressman
and used her feminist 'label' to showcase how feminism has become a blatant power struggle
you know its good when it was attempted to be banned in several movie theaters and countries
Modern day diversity and feminism is past its prime
very much so
It's now just an excuse to try to get more power at the cost of other's livelihoods, to make it worse, it's fucking rewarded
yeah exactly
They claim its for more freedom/equality while being absolutely one sided
Smoke screen tactics
"Lets sayall the nice keywords in the most ambiguous manner, while enacting extremely specific policies that benefit a few"
The few being themselves most of the time
yup
Every movement has it's breaking point. #MeToo hit the roadblock with ridiculous accusations against Aziz Ansari. I suspect the modern-day feminist wave will ultimately collapse the minute inequitable legislation is proposed.
self-interest
I mean
many claim arguing or offending someone is assault
so
Words are offensive!
Hollywood's currently facing diminishing returns at the box office for overtly feminist films. Hopefully we'll begin to see universities and academic institutions return to reason with the rise of feminist beliefs encroaching on student's freedoms
But that's probably 5 years off
I'd outright leave the school if I was forced to be taught that shit
And leave them legit feedback
It comes back to the argument of personal freedoms over offending sensibilities.
I doubt that will happen anytime soon, im graduating in 2 weeks in computer science, and even then Ive seen a lot of dumbass sjw shit
I'm better off getting an apprenticeship and networking than being taught about if someone feels like a girl or boy and how I should feel like that too
And reason doesn't always prevail - Oxford just banned clapping at graduation ceremonies.
yeah i did read that
"yes we prepare you for the workingi ndustry"
"but sir, we cant clap"
^^^ college that won't get me or my kids money ~~when I do have them that is~~
Not all colleges are indoctrinated in this nonsense. It's predominantly alive and well in liberal arts universities. I can personally attest to trade schools focusing on educating students to learn life skills.
It's when intersectionality and identity politics trickle down into grad schools that I become concerned.
Life skills are a necessity and just for example. I'd love to take a cooking class because I suck at cooking as is! Won't pursue it as a career mind you, but experience is what I find valuable in education.
