soros can't just give $100M and get 1M votes.
and where would that money even fucking go?
he can hand out $100 bills, but can't make people vote the way he wants.
the fed reserve? good fucking luck
general revenue
yeah, again, good luck
why not just cut out the middleman and count bank accounts instead of votes
you haven't given a good reason why this isn't viable or wouldn't produce superior results.
the reason why you wouldn't count bank account balances is because we want to give everyone, regardless of income, the same choice. the same sacrifice.
a very small sacrifice.
your quip about a starship troopers system is already leagues beyond this retardation
again, that's not refuting anything.
>small
>$100
I don't think you've ever had a ground level job
that's a trivial amount of money
It really isn't
@pwtdo Voter ID would solve that issue
You have to pay like $50 for a driver's license or something
as an administrative fee
$27 last I did
true. the reason why voter ID is always defeated is because of the poll tax argument.
Whatever the number is, if you're too poor to pay for an ID, you're probably on welfare, in which case it's a conflict of interest for you to vote anyway since you'd likely vote yourself more largesse
because apparently one's ethnicity makes one incapable of going to a government office and filling out a form.
that's exactly my point.
I guess black people aren't allowed to drive or drink or fly on planes either, cuz muh racism
plenty of poor methbillies wouldn't pony up their $100 either
Good, fuck 'em
rather by lotto tickets or dip
exactly
Voter ID
the whole fucking point is to limit the franchise
Yes
If you can afford lotto tickets and booze but not voter ID, you don't get to vote
But that’s only part of it
The 19th amendment... needs some amending

I imagine, at worst, you'd find some bleeding heart liberal with too much money setting up a charity to pay for the extremely poor to get IDs and I'd even be fine with that, since someone's voluntarily putting up their own money as surety for it
we should fucking defend and enforce the definition of the franchise from non-citizens, not take it away from actual citizens
yep, someone giving you the $100 is fine. they can't make you vote one way or the other.
Service guarantees citizenship
they aren't in the polling booth with you
