must suck to have propaganda ideas so poorly guarded

2019-10-29 20:26:09 UTC

well what the fuck is the point of propaganda if it isn't publicly disseminated

2019-10-29 20:26:29 UTC

Propaganda is trying to compare USS Gerald R. Ford to the HMS Queen Elizabeth. She is not even in the Fords class nor league.

2019-10-29 20:29:54 UTC

That and the USS Nimitz had a Twitter account long before the HMS Queen Elizabeth was launch~ https://twitter.com/NimitzNews

2019-10-29 20:41:36 UTC

Not the same kind of propaganda they're pushing on that account @Wayward Lone

2019-10-29 20:41:53 UTC

> She is not even in the Fords class nor league.
But you can buy two for the price of one πŸ˜‰

2019-10-29 20:42:43 UTC

And you need significantly less people to man the QEs. You could man 6 QEs for one Ford

2019-10-29 20:44:29 UTC

Oh no. Just saying it is propaganda in itself. She doesn't measure up at all~

2019-10-29 20:44:39 UTC

One for one sure

2019-10-29 20:46:00 UTC
2019-10-29 20:47:16 UTC

There's one I saw that shows each ship in each fleet

2019-10-29 20:47:21 UTC

That looked amazing

2019-10-29 20:47:54 UTC

We can put the HMS Queen Elizabeth between the Carrier and Amphibious. I think she has more capabilities than an Amphibious assault ship.

2019-10-29 20:48:23 UTC

Yeah that was the design philosophy

2019-10-29 20:51:47 UTC

F-35B Always great to see 5th generation fighters.

2019-10-29 20:52:13 UTC

Still not 100% sure how I feel about the B's

2019-10-29 20:52:33 UTC

Leaning towards them being a better idea than the C's

2019-10-29 20:53:17 UTC

Since the RAF will be using F-35B's as well, meaning our stockpile of aircraft will be larger. Also, RAF aircraft landing on carriers could be useful

2019-10-29 20:53:17 UTC

A lot of issues with the F-35s in general. F-22 more reliable from last I looked at it. Hell I recommend 4th generation with stealth capabilities.

2019-10-29 20:53:42 UTC

Well the 22 isn't for sale.

2019-10-29 20:54:04 UTC

The Brits also have a new air superiority program on the go, project Tempest

2019-10-29 21:33:08 UTC

Isn't that an old project from the war? Revamping the name or is it still the same project?

2019-10-29 21:33:36 UTC

That was an old aircraft during WW2. They're just using it as the project name

2019-10-29 21:35:22 UTC

The Lizes look pretty good. I'm waiting to find out what they do with that extra reactor on the Fords.

2019-10-29 21:36:38 UTC

I imagine that will be going towards laser-based weapons

2019-10-29 21:37:01 UTC

Especially for point defence

2019-10-29 21:38:54 UTC

Probably some sort of directed energy AMS. Maybe not laser. A particle weapon would fry the electronics on incoming targets.

2019-10-29 22:01:23 UTC

I imagine there's a massive amount of money being pumped into R&D for projects like that

2019-10-29 22:01:44 UTC

I suppose mounting them on ships is the next logical step and why large power is still unallocated on those carriers

2019-10-29 22:40:30 UTC

Do we have any railguns on the ships yet or are they still in the testing phase?

2019-10-29 22:43:34 UTC

Not yet. The Ford class has a second nuclear reactor and it is going to power something but we do not know what yet.

2019-10-29 22:45:02 UTC

🀞

2019-10-30 00:19:10 UTC

Isn't that just airdropping a bunch of copies of "the Communists manifesto"?

2019-10-30 01:05:21 UTC

bahaha
