agreed
however
the new buildings being built across eastern europe/including russia, a good part of them lack proper building norms
water infiltrates
the basement floods
the walls are thiner
etc
a good portion of them
Not in Hungary they don't
Although we are not proper Eastern Europe either
it depends from what construction companies you strike deals with
if they can get away with cutting corners they will
Never heard of any building having those problems here
We **do** however have a massive issue with delays
my blocks had draconic building codes since it's built right after the great earthquake of 1977
I wonder how many of these new buildings will hold properly in a real earthquake
as in a few months to a year and a half setbacks
Oh wait, you are a Romanian?
If I have to choose between a new block with questionable earthquake resistance and an old one with proper earthquake code, i'll go with old
Timisoara
I did hear some shady stuff about your construction companies
it may be that
yeah
the very new buildings built after 1989 had some catastrophic qualities
only after we joined the EU in 2007 were they forced to respect proper regulations
it might sound strange on Sargon's fucking server
but the EU is a blessing
it has it's problems
but for us at least
it's been a massive net positive
they don't make them like they used to
literally move thhem on rails with people still in them
What the hell do you do with the plumbing tho
Wut plumbing
you disconnect it
the plumbing is all at the very bottom
Yeah. You'd expect Scottish parliament to at least operate from within a stone castle (with 15 deg C room temperature).
