Any deviation from the normal family structure, for debatable reasons, has the child go through a lower quality of life and there is zero good reason to think that is defensible. You would have to be very deep into the egalitarian propaganda to support it.

The only convincing argument is "The data shows it is better for orphans to get adopted by homosexuals instead of be in foster homes."

The only way to change his mind on topics like this is by increasing his disgust response to a level where he actually reacts strongly to stories of homosexual child abuse. Otherwise, it is just him using clever rhetorical strategies he isn't even aware he is using.
